Great Lakes Caring has recently acquired Community Home Health Network based in Kokomo, Indiana to begin providing superior quality home health care services to patients across North-Central Indiana. This acquisition marks the first Great Lakes Caring office to be opened outside the state of Michigan since the company’s founding in 1994.
“Acquiring Community Home Health Network and opening our first office outside Michigan represents the first step we are taking to become the Midwest’s leading provider of health care services to our patients, wherever they call home, and is an all-around exciting new opportunity for Great Lakes Caring,” says William Deary, CEO. “We have begun to implement many of our innovative care services already being provided here in Michigan across our Indiana service area to raise the standard of home health care, showing both patients and physicians why Medicare regards the quality of our care as among the very best in the nation.”
The acquisition does not mean there will be changes in the referring physicians or patients who were already on service with Community Home Health Network. Instead, Great Lakes Caring will be augmenting this care with their award-winning programs and services, like Honeywell HomMed® TeleHealth and Care That Never Sleeps.
The new Kokomo branch office has an expansive service area that includes several notable cities like Indianapolis, Kokomo, Anderson and Muncie. It is located where the Community Home Health Network office was located at 1815 S. Plate Street, just south of downtown Kokomo.
