Solaris® Therapy

Multi-Faceted Treatment for Multi-Symptom Relief

Pain is often the body’s way of telling us that something is wrong. It is a major symptom of many medical conditions and can severely hamper your quality of life if not controlled properly. While prescription drugs are most commonly used to treat pain and other symptoms that diminish quality of life, physiological treatments like Solaris® Therapy are very effective at managing these symptoms when used alone or when augmenting a medication regimen.

What Is Solaris® Therapy?

Solaris® Therapy is a premier brand of light therapy used to treat a wide range of symptoms. In addition to infrared light capable of 7,500 megawatts of power, Solaris® Therapy has three frequencies of ultrasound and seven levels of electro-stimulation—all in a portable-sized package. It also features a standard light probe, making it a comprehensive therapy device that allows Great Lakes therapists to treat you with a number of different modalities.

A normal Solaris® Therapy program requires a varied number of therapy sessions, which include exercises and stretches to enhance the therapy’s effects, contingent on your needs. Depending on what modality is utilized, the beneficial effects of the treatment may be relaxation of muscle spasms, muscle strengthening and/or pain relief.
