Roll for Control®

Control Where You Go

Incontinence is a problem that affects millions of adults. Eighty percent of these adults can improve, and even cure, their incontinence with treatment, but often go undiagnosed for years due to feelings of embarrassment or unwillingness to recognize incontinence as a recurring problem. Great Lakes Caring helps individuals improve their quality of life by addressing incontinence issues with Roll for Control® from Phoenix Core Solutions.

What is Roll for Control®?

Roll for ControlRoll for Control® is a unique program created by Phoenix Core Solutions that is designed to effectively reduce and eliminate the symptoms of urinary and/or fecal incontinence. The program utilizes a four-step exercise process that incorporates meditation, exercise balls, therabands and standing plies to strengthen the core pelvic muscles controlling urinary and bowel movements.

Roll for Control® also uses education to inform individuals about outside factors that can raise the risk of incontinence, like certain foods and fluids, so that they can take a proactive approach in assuring their condition stays under control.

Roll for Control® from Great Lakes Caring Home Health

We augment the normal Roll for Control® program with protocols to raise the standard of care provided to you while battling incontinence. Individual assessments, including socialization impact, effect on every day life and warning-sign screening, are made to determine the cause and severity of the incontinence.

The Roll for Control® program is provided by an occupational therapist from Great Lakes Caring, who facilitates the program until you can perform the exercises with 100% accuracy and independence. Non-surgical, non-pharmacological medical treatment is also given as prescribed by your physician, for the elimination of underlying causes of incontinence.

Paying for Roll for Control®

We evaluate you for the appropriateness of the Roll for Control® program and you are treated at no additional cost if a physician prescribes it. Other patients who have not had incontinence treatment prescribed by a physician, or who are not eligible for Great Lakes Caring, can still request to be admitted in the Roll for Control® program for a nominal fee.

We invite you to contact us and schedule an in-home evaluation to assess your needs and determine whether Roll for Control® is appropriate for you or a loved one.
